準備申請GTI全球科技人才簽證(3) – 提名人係邊度搵？ 重要性？

上次大概講咗申請GTI揀Agent定係DIY好，我諗大家都心中有數。而當中我亦都有講過需要「提名人 Nominator 」。今次大概講講Nominator係乜嘢一回事。

正如我上一篇準備申請GTI全球科技人才簽證(1)所講，GTI申請人需要獲得自己行業嘅澳洲當地個人或組織提名，並要證明自己取得國際認可的傑出成就。首先，GTI全球科技人才簽證係吸引頂尖人才去澳洲，移民配額每年只有11,000位。點樣証明你自己係一位「專才」，除左職業上所做嘅Projects之外，都需要有個「內行人」去証明申請者所講係真，或者判斷申請人嘅能力，澳洲從而搵岩所需對象。

究竟係唔係一定要一個「人」呢？ 公司又得唔得呢？ 申請GTI當中，有份叫「form1000」係用嚟填寫Nominator嘅資料，當中提到 個人、公司或者 當地合資格嘅公會提名，所以係得嘅！當你搵到心水嘅Nominator，你就要睇睇合唔合乎以下條件。

form1000 requires the applicant’s record of achievement to be attested to by a nominator who has a national reputation in relation to the area of achievement. A nominator must be:

1. an Australian citizen; or
2. an Australian permanent resident; or
3. an eligible New Zealand citizen; or
4. an Australian organisation.

要留意清楚，個人或者公司Nominator係需要有當地身份。即係澳洲公民、永居居民等等… 如果佢無以上身份，佢幾合適都無用。

另外要留意要求提到「nominator who has a national reputation in relation to the area of achievement」。又係咩意思？ 其實申請者做得依張簽証都係專才之一，作為你嘅Nominator應該都比你更加厲害，例如：職位、收入、當地行業名聲、參與當地嘅或者國際性會議等等…

A number of factors may be considered to gain insight on the nominator’s reputation, which may attribute to the credibility of the nominator’s attestation to the applicant’s achievements. These factors may include the nominator’s:

• solid track record of achievements;
• evidence of high calibre;
• leadership in the relevant field of expertise;
• professional associations with lead organisations and industry bodies;
• current and previous employment history;
• their participation at conferences both in Australia and internationally; and
• their contribution to a number of international journals which would be utilised by researchers, academics and organisations undertaking work in the same field of research.

所以你要搵一個有澳洲身份、同你係同一個行業、名聲及職位比你高、行業貢獻性高嘅提名人。好似好難搵咁係咪？其實只要你留意身邊合作過嘅人同機構，其實都會搵到。我都係咁樣搵返黎！ 當你搵到岩嘅Nominator，佢係需要提供好多個人資料 (e.g. soft copy of Austrailan Passport, Residental Address, Phone Number）。依個部份係有啲難度，要睇你同Nominator嘅關係啦…

有一點要提大家，坊間有移民公司或者某啲人專收錢幫人搵Nominator。記住千祈唔好搵佢地幫手！ 其實澳洲移民局係要求搵一個互相認識嘅Nominator，你搵個三九唔識七嘅一定會出事！ 因為澳洲有機會聯絡Nominator問有關於申請人嘅背景，知道你講大話，申請會被取消，可能連將來入境都有問題… 詳細唔多講，唔合法嘅大家唔好去試！

最後想講，搵一個岩嘅Nominator係直接影響你申請visa成唔成功嘅重要因素。如果你搵到澳洲某間大公司嘅CEO/COO，你已經成功在一大半… (認真唔講笑 :P)
